By decision of the Deputy Minister of Interior, Stelios Petsas, following a recommendation of the Evaluation Committee, projects worth a total of 3,409,085.77 euros are included for funding in the “Antonis Tritsis” development program for Local Government.
Specifically, eight (8) pre-seismic checks and seismic protection actions are included in the framework of the AT11 project (pre-seismic control) and four (4) actions in the framework of the AT14 project (“Greece 1821-Greece 2021”).
The axis “Greece 1821 – Greece 2021” of the Ministry of Interior’s “Antonis Tritsis” Program concerns bicentennial actions and events throughout the country, for the 200 years since the Greek Revolution, which combine historical memory with the developmental dimension for the future of local communities and the country.
In this context, the actions related to the call “Greece 1821 – Greece 2021” include the following projects:
a) for the Municipality of the Heroic City of Naoussa with the object of connecting today with the emblematic event of the Revolution – that is, the sacrifice of the heroic women of Naoussa in the waterfall of Arapitsa
b) for the Municipality of Dion, Olympus which concerns the utilization of a historical archive for the promotion of the history of the area and its role during the years of the revolutionary struggle, through the creation of a digital museum.
c) for the Municipality of Thessaloniki for the digital projection, utilization, and promotion of the latest intangible and tangible cultural heritage of the Municipality, and
d) for the Municipality of Marathon the project entitled “The Cargo Project: A visual awakening project for climate change and the destruction of the environment”.
