Travel giant TUI has reportedly cancelled several vacation packages for Greece, Italy and Spain, according to the Daily Mail, with the UK outlet pointing to another delay in placing the trio in a so-called “green list” of low Covid-infected countries.
Daily Mail claimed the decision was taken after Jet2 cancelled its international flights until July 1, while adding that “axed” vacation packages were those up until July 4 or until July 11.
The first batch includes Greece, along with another 12 national and regional holiday destinations.
Specifically for Greece, vacation packages to Hania, Kavala, Cephalonia, Mykonos, Preveza, Samos, Santorini, Skiathos and Thessaloniki were cancelled.
