
The oldest British travel magazine Wanderlust in its July / August 2021 issue filled its pages with Greece.
In the meantime, the positive promotion of Greece continues in a series of British print and electronic media, with the assistance of the EOT Foreign Service of Great Britain / Ireland, despite the restrictive measures in international travel, which the British government takes from time to time.

Wanderlust magazine dedicated the cover, the Editorial, but also 24 pages to the Greek islands and the Peloponnese, urging its 100,000 readers to discover, among other things, the least known – to the British public – diamonds of Greece, from Symi and Tilos, to Alonissos, Ikaria, and Samos.
Specifically, following the cooperation and assistance of the EOT Office of Great Britain with the photographic and information material, the July-August 2021 issue of Wanderlust, was recently published with:
* Cover dedicated to Greece under the title “Escaping the crowds in the Greek Islands”,
* 20 page tribute to smaller islands of our country and specifically: Samos, Chios, Ikaria, Patmos, Symi, Tilos, Nisyros, Astypalea, Andros, Tinos, Syros, Paros, Amorgos, Skopelos, Skyros, Alonissos, Lefkada, Kefalonia, Kefalonia, Kefalonia Kythira and Samothrace,
* 4-page travel experience in the Southern Peloponnese, exploring history, sites of incomparable beauty, gastronomy and places of special interest, promoting Laconian and Messinian Mani as ideal holiday destinations for the British market, all year round.
* Editorial- anthem to the beauties and hospitality of Greece by the Editor-in-Chief of the issue Mr. George Kipouros
According to the article by Mr. Kipouros: “Greece is one of the most favorite destinations for the British public, who every year dreams of a vacation in Greece! Despite the significant obstacles of the British government in international travel – which are still in force – our readers continue with undiminished interest to search for content about Greece in the websites and issues of the magazine. However, this summer, Greece is honored by a number of other media, from the first country (the UK) in terms of tourist arrivals for Greece, which in 2019 yielded 2, 556 billion euros in revenues from travel expenses in our national economy :
