The Greek PM, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, visited the 7th Health Region of Crete in Spili, Rethymnio, and urged all the citizens to get inoculated. During his visit he made the following statements:
“I am in the municipality of Agios Vassilios to personally inspect the mobile units and I am really glad that the response of the citizens is so great and warm. It goes without saying that here, in Crete, we need to further increase the levels of vaccination and, to this end, a very systematic effort is being made by all agencies. We must be able to convince our fellow citizens, who are still in doubt about whether to be inoculated or not, that they should. The great advantage of these mobile units is that it’s us that go to the citizens and not the citizens that come to the vaccination centers,” stated the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, when he visited the mobile vaccinations unit of the 7th Health Region of Crete, in Spili, Agios Vassilios, in Rethymno.
The Greek PM also added: “From the bottom of my heart, I want to ask you to overcome the inhibitions, overcome your phobias in any way, either in the vaccination centers through the electronic platform, or in the mobile units, and all of you who have not been vaccinated yet, book your vaccination appointment as soon as possible. You protect above all yourselves, your families, but, at the same time, you contribute to the national effort that we are all making in order to put an end to this pandemic. I had the opportunity to contact the doctors in the mobile unit and, as they told me, our fellow citizens who are being treated at the moment are those who haven’t been vaccinated. Let people who are in doubt realize how dangerous Covid-19 is for all ages, including the younger ones, the vaccine is safe. It has no side effects. “Everyone of you should be vaccinated.”
