
The Hellenic Statistical Authority announces that during the month of July 2021, 21,018 cars were circulated for the first time (new, or used from abroad) compared to 19,054 that circulated in the corresponding month of 2020, showing an increase of 10.3%.
According to the Hellenic Statistical Authority, the new cars circulating in July 2021 amount to 11,611 compared to 10,293 circulating in the corresponding month of 2020, showing an increase of 12.8%.
The circulation of new motorcycles with a displacement of more than 50 cc (new or used from abroad) in July amounted to 6,300 compared to 5,724 in the corresponding month of last year, recording an increase of 10.1%.
The new motorcycles licensed in July amount to 5,700 compared to 5,341 released in the corresponding month of 2020, showing an increase of 6.7%.
In the period January – July 2021, 126,661 cars were licensed for the first time (new, or used abroad) compared to 98,392 in the corresponding period of 2020, with an increase of 28.7%.
During the same period, new cars amounted to 75,118 compared to 49,748 last year, showing an increase of 51.0%.
