The rise of arrivals by air in the “heart” of the summer, the most critical month of the tourist season, is continuous. It is noted that during the week from June 28 to 4 July 593 thousand were scheduled on incoming international flights, as reported by capital.gr.
The greatest demand comes from Germany, which for Greek tourism is the most valuable reservoir of income and arrivals, with over 170 thousand scheduled places per week in August, from the United Kingdom, Italy, France and the Netherlands.
In terms of destinations, demand is high for the airports of Heraklion, Rhodes, Corfu, Kos, Santorini, Mykonos, Chania and Zakynthos.
