Viohalco, expressing its solidarity with those affected by the devastating fires and with the aim of supporting the residents, rehabilitating the fire-affected areas and preventing similar situations in the future, will contribute, through its subsidiaries, 1 million euros.
The contribution concerns both actions and materials for the restoration of infrastructure and the environment, as well as equipment and means for fire protection. The actions that will be implemented will be defined in cooperation with the public authorities, the local self-government and the competent bodies.
Specifically, the following companies will contribute:
• ElvalHalcor: 500,000 euros
• Cenergy Holdings: 300,000 euros (through the companies of Hellenic Cables and Corinth Pipeworks)
• Sidenor: 200,000 euros
Finally, the Management and the employees of Viohalco express their gratitude and thanks to those who selflessly participated in the efforts to deal with the fires.
