Athens-based Fourlis Group, IKEA’s partner for Greece and the Balkans, this week announced it was unveiled a “new generation” concept for the Swedish multinational’s presence, inaugurating what it calls the omnichannel experience.
The next IKEA outlet, in fact, will be a smaller store in The Mall of Athens, Greece’s most successful shopping mall. A similar “compact” outlet had opened up in the port city of Piraeus months ago.
The latest edition will cover 2,000 square meters and offer some 1,000 product codes, with most available for purchase and carryout on site.
