New insurance contracts and policies increased by 9.4 percent in Greece during the first half of the year, according to the monthly survey by the union representing insurance firms in the country.
The specific survey collected data from 50 firms in the country, which comprise more nearly 95 percent of all policies issued in Greece and nearly all life insurance policies.
The relevant increase, between H1 2021 and H1 2020, for insurance policies was 16.5 percent.
