Crete and the islands of the North Aegean were excluded from the list of high-risk destinations compiled by Germany, according to the information provided to the Minister of Tourism, Vassilis Kikilias.
Specifically, as the minister stated, “I was pleased to be informed by the German Ambassador to Athens, Ernst Reichel, that Crete and the islands of the South Aegean were removed today from the list of coronavirus high-risk destinations of the German state .
“All of Greece is a safe destination for German tourists,” Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias told the Athenian-Macedonian News Agency on the sidelines of his visit to the 85th Thessaloniki International Fair.
