More than 200,000 vulnerable households will receive financial assistance at Christmas that can reach up to 900 euros, according to what the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, had announced at the TIF.
Specifically, the Minimum Guaranteed Income to which vulnerable households are entitled will be paid double.
The guaranteed amount is defined as follows:
– For a household with 2 adult members, a total amount of aid of 300 euros is paid. With the double payment in December, the amount will reach 600 euros
– For each minor member of the household there will be an increase of the guaranteed amount by 50 euros
The maximum amount of the guaranteed amount is set at 900 euros per month, regardless of the composition of the household.
Thus, with the payment in December, the beneficiaries will receive an additional 900 euros.
