Fifteen people were detained on Wednesday evening in central Athens after members of notorious anarchist collective threw flyers and raised a banner near the residence of Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
The incident took place in the inner-city Metaxourgio district, and involved the “Rouvikonas” group. According to media reports, the action by the self-styled anti-state activists was in solidarity to an undetermined number of defendants facing trial on criminal charges.
