“Hospitals, despite the health crisis we are experiencing, remain understaffed. At the same time the main goal which was to create a wall of immunity through universal vaccination seems to becoming abandoned. “Greece is by far the last of the countries in the south of Europe in vaccination coverage”, said Mr. Tsipras.
As an example to be imitated for the vaccination operation, Mr. Tsipras presented Portugal, which as he stressed has a vaccination rate of over 80%, while in Greece this percentage is 60%.
Regarding schools, Mr. Tsipras said that the number of sick minors has doubled.
