Piraeus Bank is issuing a green senior preferred bond, according to information, which is part of its commitment to the ESG criteria.
The book of offers is expected to open tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.
It is worth noting that the bank instructed the six international banks BNP Paribas, BofA Securities, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Nomura and UBS to “run” the issue, while the senior preferred title is type 6NC5, ie 6-year non-revocable before over 5 years.
It is also recalled that Piraeus Bank has already announced its entry into the markets for raising funds up to 500 million euros by issuing a green bond of the senior preferred category by the end of the year.
This is the first green title issued by Piraeus Bank and is expected to receive a Caa1 rating from Moody’s and B from S&P, while it is expected to contribute to the further improvement of its capital structure.
