For the first time after 2016, the Competition Commission returned as a dividend to the state budget an amount of 1,860,603.02 euros in the context of the sound management of its finances and in accordance with the provisions of par. 5 of article 17 of law 3959/2011 ( Government Gazette A ’93). This amount resulted from the surplus (income-expenses) of the financial year 2020.
Also, from the analysis of the financial data and based on the forecasts, the financial year 2021 is expected to close with a significant surplus (income-expenses), a fact that will allow the return to the state budget of an amount that will reach 2,456,000.00 euros .
This amount has been entered in the budget of the Competition Commission for the financial year 2022, which is approved by the General Accountant of the State, at which time it will be returned.
