
The weather is wintery today.
According to national weather service EMY, in western Greece and Crete clouds are forecast with local rains and mainly in the Ionian, isolated thunderstorms.
In the rest of the country increased clouds in places, with light local rains mainly in the morning in the eastern mainland, the Sporades and Evia.
The winds will blow in the west southeast and in the east from northerly directions 4 to 5 and in the seas locally 6 on the beaufort scale, with gradual weakening.
The temperature will reach 12 to 14 degrees in the northern mainland, 21 in Crete and the Dodecanese and 16 to 19 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily heavier, with a chance of light local rain mainly in the morning. Visibility in the morning and evening will be locally limited.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the east northeast 5 to 6 Beaufort with rapid weakening.
Temperature: From 06 to 14 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia the maximum is 2 to 3 points lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN STEREA, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Cloudy with local rains and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the Ionian islands.
Winds: East southeast 4 to 5 and in the Ionian south southeast locally up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 19 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 5 degrees lower.
THESSALY, EASTERN CENTRAL, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily heavier with light local rains mainly in the morning in Thessaly, the Sporades and eastern Sterea.
Winds: North northeast 4 to 6 Beaufort with gradual weakening.
Temperature: From 10 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the north the maximum is 2 to 4 degrees lower.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily heavier with local rains in Crete and probably in the morning in the Cyclades.
Winds: North 4 to 6 Beaufort with gradual weakening.
Temperature: From 14 to 19 and in Crete up to 21 degrees Celsius.
EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: A few clouds temporarily heavier, with the possibility of temporary local rains.
Winds: North northeast 5 to 6 Beaufort with rapid weakening. South north northwest 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 21 degrees Celsius. In the islands of the eastern Aegean 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EUBOEA
Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily heavier with light local rains mainly in the morning.
Winds: North northeast 5 to 6 Beaufort with rapid weakening.
Temperature: From 11 to 16 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
Weather: Cloudy skies temporarily heavier with a chance of light local rain in the morning.
Winds: North northeast 4 to 5 and east 6 Beaufort with rapid weakening.
Temperature: From 12 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the north the maximum is 2 to 3 lower.
THESSALONIKI
