The distribution of self-test starts today, 6/12/2021, with the aim of the best possible recording of the epidemiological picture of the country and the prevention of the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, during the holiday season, as stressed by the Ministry of Health.
Until December 12, all adult citizens, vaccinated and not, who have a Social Security Number or a Provisional Insurance and a Health Care Number or Temporary Social Security Number, will be able to obtain one (1) self-test free of charge from the pharmacies of the country.
The same procedure will be repeated between 3/1/2022 – 7/1/2022.
Free self-tests will be available for all citizens from pharmacies only during working days and hours, so that pharmacists have the possibility to serve emergencies during days and nights.
Despite the fact that the measure is not mandatory, all citizens should undergo a self-diagnostic test by 12/12, in order to limit the viral load and circulation of the virus in view of the festive season.
