The “A-” rating ranks the TITAN Group in the top 15% of all companies with published data worldwide and among the five (out of a total of 27) cement companies that have achieved a corresponding rating for 2021. In 2021, the TITAN Group raised the bar even higher, as it became one of the first cement companies in the world whose CO2 emission reduction targets were validated by the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative, as compatible with the reduction levels required for achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
In addition, Titan signed the Business Ambition for 1.5 ° C Commitment, led by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the We Mean Business Alliance, to hold global warming to 1.5 ° C and zero (clean) carbon emissions by 2050.
