Greece’s privatization agency, the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), on Tuesday announced that an e- auction for the Nea Irakleitsa property, which includes the right of an online counter-offer, has attracted a high bid of 18.5 million euros.
HRADF said Alexander Haditaghi made the highest bid – 103.3 percent higher than the minimum start price of 9.1 million euros.
The agency’s board must now convene to ratify the e-auction result.
The property of Nea Irakleitsa, in northern Kavala prefecture, consists of two adjacent seaside plots with a total surface of 149.733,43 square meters. The property, situated Palaio Bay, is flat, has a sandy coastal 600-meter seafront and an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Kavala and the eastern coast of Thassos island.
The property has direct access to the Egnatia tollway and the old Thessaloniki – Kavala national highway. Its distance from Kavala is 14 kilometers; 45 kilometers from the nearest major airport, while the nearest ports are Kavala and Nea Peramos (2.5 kilometers).
The village of Nea Iraklitsa is a well-known seaside tourism and leisure destination.
