The successful completion of the acquisition of the aggregates and concrete activities of the company HALYPS Construction Materials SA announced the Heracles group.
In the field of aggregates, the investment expands the geographical footprint of the Heracles cement industry, according to relevant information and strengthens its competitiveness in the dynamically developing market of Attica. The group acquires the ability to sell an expanded product portfolio of aggregates for use in the production of concrete, bituminous concrete, cement, plaster and paving, resulting in the complete support of its customers in the construction of each infrastructure project.
In the field of concrete, continuing to consistently implement its “green” strategy, the Heracles group intends to immediately dispose of the new “green” series of concretes with low carbon footprint ECOPact from the new production units. In doing so, it reaffirms its commitment to leading the transition to lower carbon footprints.
With the addition of new employees who all without exception become part of the group family without the slightest change in their labor rights and employment status, further strengthens available human resources, which for Heracles is one of the most important factors of competitiveness and value creation.
Mr. Dimitris Chanis, CEO of Heracles Group, said: “Today a strategic investment for HERACLES Group was successfully completed, which significantly contributes to strengthening our competitive position in Attica and further strengthens our leading position in the construction materials sector of Greece. It is with great pleasure that we welcome the new employees to the large family of the HERACLES Group and to an environment of excellence, trust, and respect. We continue our dynamic investment program, confirming the faith of our Group in the possibilities and prospects of the Greek society and national economy “.
