
Contacts between Greece and Mexico are resumed for the activation of the transnational agreement for scientific and technological cooperation, which was inactive.
The Deputy Minister of State for Development and Investment, Christos Dimas, met today with the Ambassador of Mexico, Daniel Hernández Joseph, and the Head of the Embassy for Economic, Commercial and International Affairs, Laura Mora.
As announced by the ministry, the subject of their discussion was the transnational agreement between the two countries in scientific and technological cooperation.
It is recalled that Greece and Mexico had signed a transnational agreement since 1999 for scientific and technological cooperation, but it remains inactive.
In the context of the strengthening of relations between the two countries, in the field of research and innovation, the parties decided to resume contacts for the activation of the transnational agreement.
Mr. Dimas said: “We discussed today with the Ambassador of Mexico how we can strengthen the relations between the two countries in research and innovation and we jointly agreed to finally activate the transnational agreement.”
