The eight arrested for the murder of Alkis Kampanos asked for and received a deadline to apologize from the 7th regular interrogator in Thessaloniki. Specifically, they are expected to be taken to court again on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
According to the warrant issued against them, in execution of which they were arrested yesterday (Sunday), they are being prosecuted -among other things- for the crime of joint murder with deceit, committed and in an attempt, in a row.
After the deadline they received, they return to the detention centers of the Security of Thessaloniki.
He will go through the door of the same interrogator from time to time in order to apologize to the 23-year-old, originally from Albania, who had been arrested first, a few hours after the murder.
According to information, the arrested “showed” a 21-year-old Greek as guilty of the murder, however, the accusation of intentional homicide weighs on everyone.
Who are the eight arrested?
It is noted that Greek police on Sunday afternoon struck and arrested eight more people allegedly linked to the murder case, while at the same time seem to be close to arresting two more people allegedly involved.
The nine in total – along with the 23-year-old – are aged between 19 and 23.
Two other people are included in the case file and arrest warrants have been issued against them, while police searches are underway to locate them. One of the two men is a 20-year-old man who allegedly fled to Albania a few hours after the deadly attack.
According to police sources, quoted by the newspaper “Macedonia”, there is evidence for everyone that they participated in the murderous attack, as well as a clear picture of who stabbed Alkis and the role that everyone had.
