Greece’s privatization agency, the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund S.A. (HRADF), on Tuesday launched a tender process for the concession of the mega-yachts marina on the north Ionian island of Corfu. According to a press release by the agency, the licensed mega-yachts marina is located within the Port of Corfu, to the west of pier for cruise ships and near the passenger terminal.
The facility is billed being able to host up to 98 vessels of up to 140 meters in length. The facility’s size is 39,400 square meters. Through a option allowing for an extension, the marina can cover a land area of approximately 100,000 square meters.
Ongoing HRADF tenders are for a marina in the extreme southwest Greece harbor of Pylos and the marina of in the small Corinth Gulf harbor of Itea.
HRADF has launched an international tender process for the sub-concession of the right to construct, operate, manage, maintain and exploit the Corfu mega-yachts marina for a minimum duration of 35 years.
HRADF’s tender process will be conducted in two phases, namely, a pre-qualification phase and a binding offers phase.
Interested parties are invited to submit their expression of interest on April 18, 2022.
