The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) and the Special Administrator extended the deadline for the submission of binding bids in the LARCO concession tenders.
Normally the investment schemes should arrive today for the submission of the files, however information wants the two organizers of the competitions, to set a new date for March 31st.
Sources say that the extension was requested by one of the candidate investment schemes for the collection of legal documents, however, the non-resolution of the two pending issues of the establishment of the Decision Environmental Terms Approval of the LARCO factory and the non-completion of the dismissals of its employees seem to be the main reasons for extension of tenders.
According to information regarding the labor union, it should be noted that last Friday the Supreme Labor Council reportedly gave a positive opinion on the process that preceded the collective dismissal of 1,080 employees and in 20 days they will be fired.
