The general index at the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) closed down by 0.41 percent on Monday, closing at 859.32 points.
Turnover reached 44.32 million euros.
Of the stocks traded, 53 were up; 60 moved downward and 21 remained the same. The high capitalization index dropped by 0.58 percent, the medium cap index fell by 0.57 percent.
