
Mr. George Gerardos, founder and chairman of the board of directors of Plaisio Computers yesterday was named Greek “Entrepreneur of the Year” for 2021, at an event organized by EY Greece.
As part of the award ceremony organized at the Athens Concert Hall, the winners of the individual categories of the competition were also awarded.
In more detail, the winners of the individual categories are:
“Self-made Entrepreneur” and winner of the Greek award “Entrepreneur of the Year” for 2021, Mr. Giorgos Gerardos, Founder and Chairman of the Board, Plaisio Computers
“Internationally Developing Entrepreneur”, Mr. Giorgos Mylonas, Chairman of the Board. and CEO, Alumyl
“Dynamically Growing Entrepreneur”, Mr. Alexandros Chatzieleftheriou, CEO and Co-Founder, Blueground
“Pioneer Entrepreneur”, Dr. Vassilis G. Apostolopoulos, CEO, Athens Medical Club
At the same time, and for the first time in the history of the institution in Greece, an honorary “Distinction of Total Business Offer” was awarded to Mr. Eleftherios Saitis, founder and president of the companies, Kronos, Intercomm Foods and Agrophoenix, recognizing his excellent business course and contribution to the national economy.
Mr. Gerardos will represent Greece in the international competition in Monte Carlo in June 2022, where, together with the winners of the respective national award from about 60 countries, he will compete for the title EV World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022.
