The first session – with the theme “New Money” is about the rapid rise of digital currencies – from discreet free-flowing cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ether to linked currencies such as the USD Coin – which has brought financial regulators and monetary authorities face to face with how they will respond. That is, how the state should weigh the risks and rewards of this vibrant new ecosystem.
The Second Session – with the theme “The Crypto Stress Test” will deal with the massive groundswell of activity in the tech start-up sector, tightening financial conditions and massive geopolitical upheavals are both revealing the potential of new technologies and testing the viability of new business models. Speakers will examine what lies ahead for crypto and crypto-adjacent industries globally.
