
According to the Hellenic Statistical Authority-ELSTAT, the Output Price Index in Agriculture – Livestock (excluding subsidies) increased by 16.8% in February 2022, compared to February 2021. The corresponding index in February 2021 had recorded a decrease of 1.0%, compared with February 2020.
The increase of 16.8% in the Output Price Index in February 2022 compared with February 2021 is on account of the increase of 20.6% of the price index in crop output group and mainly on the rate of change of the group vegetables and horticultural products.
The Output Price Index in February 2022 increased by 1.8%, in comparison with January 2022.
The twelve-month weighted average output index from March 2021 to February 2022 increased by 12.9%, compared to the corresponding index of the period from March 2020 to February 2021 .
The Input Price Index in Agriculture – Livestock increased by 20.3% in February 2022, compared with February 2021. The corresponding index in February 2021 had recorded a increase of 0.9%, compared with February 2020.

The increase of 20.3% in the Input Price Index in February 2022 compared with February 2021 is on account of an increase of 23.4% of the price index in goods and services currently consumed in agriculture group and mainly on the rates of change of the group energy and lubricants.

The twelve–month average input index from March 2021 to February 2022, increased by 10.7% compared with the corresponding index of the period from March 2020 to February 2021
