A more sustainable future for all invites us to imagine and co-create, the 1st Greece New European Bauhaus (NEB), hosted at The Ellinikon Experience Park. A future centered on sustainability, inclusion and beauty, which bridges science and technology with culture and art. The festival with the theme “ECO-building the Future” is a new annual institution led by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and is organized this year for the first time in Greece, by the World Human Forum and the Convergences Greece Forum, in collaboration with EVZIN.LIFE and with Lamda Development as a strategic partner.
The Experience Park that will host the Festival, is the first project of the great redevelopment of Ellinikon delivered to the citizens in December 2021. It is an ideal example of sustainable design that changes the urban landscape, reflecting in practice the basic principles of sustainability and inclusion, introducing a new, better way of life for all. In an area of over 7 hectares, with more than 600 trees and 80,000 plants of Mediterranean varieties, and with various points of interest, such as the interactive fountain, outdoor sports area, the most exciting playground in Greece and the garden with olive trees, guests live special experiences and unique moments close to nature.
