PPC Renewables, a subsidiary of Greece’s dominant electricity utility, the Public Power Corp. (PPC), has entered into a binding agreement for the partial (55 percent) acquisition of energy provider Volterra’s renewables portfolio, namely, 112 MW in wind and solar energy projects – including operating units and those under construction.
The acquisition by PPC Renewables, which does not include Volterra’s retail portfolio, aims to bolster PPC’s market presence.
The transaction corresponds to an enterprise value of 133 million euros.
