There is no reason to worry for the unknown nature of the materials found around the plane wreckage, stated the mayor of Pangaio Filippos Anastasiades. He explained that the white dust located by drones in the area of the wreckage was not radioactive or other biological material dangerous for the public health.

Anastasiades said that six of the eight bodies have been already located while the two others are still missing. The bodies will be sent to Komotini coroner. The Ukrainian diplomatic authorities to Greece will receive the bodies after the post mortem examination is completed.
