What comes after the ID card and driver license
The deputy minister clarified that the goal is specifically by the end of the month, for both the diploma and the identity card to have entered our mobile phones and then the KTEO and security will follow, without however abolishing the process of using the forms as well .
The digital registration transfer
Speaking about the digital registration and transfer of vehicles announced on Friday, Mr. Papadopoulos said that it is a simple process that has already started to give measurable quality results, noting that at the time the digital transfer of vehicles was announced, two transfers had already taken place.
Automation of controls
He also added that through this new procedure, the control of the conditions of the transfer is automated, the presentation of supporting documents is abolished and a digital certificate is established with which the buyer can immediately secure his vehicle. At the same time, the seller is released from the obligation to visit the service, the control time by the responsible employee is reduced while the transparency of all the details of the for-sale vehicle is enhanced.
Based on the data presented by the deputy minister, 405,000 temporary driving licenses have been issued so far, 20,000 applications have also been submitted by citizens requesting the renewal of their vehicle license and 36,000 medical certificates have been issued.
