A random drone flight was the reason that an enchanting blue-green beach, which few know about, was discovered near the Argolida Valley. The enchanting landscape was named the “hermit’s fjord” as the footage shows signs of habitation by a hermit (?), namely a yellow canoe and a small makeshift wooden structure. These are of course assumptions as no one can be sure unless they visit the place.
The beauty of the landscape is unmatched. A small gorge leads to a beach that is narrow and deep like a fjord and its waters have an amazing color. Thus it constitutes a shelter protected from the winds.
It seems, from the footage, that access from land is quite difficult, however there may be a path that leads the would-be visitor to the magical beach on foot.
What are fjords?
Fjords are long narrow sea inlets with steeply sloping shores, resembling flooded river gorges, and were created thousands of years ago during the melting of the ice after the last ice age, when sea water flooded the valleys created by the glaciers.
