The Overall Import Price Index (MPI) in Greece’s industrial sector for June 2022 recorded an increase of 32.8 percent, compared with the same month in 2021, the Hellenic Statistical Authority announced on Friday.
The corresponding index in June 2021 posted an increase of 20.5 percent, compared with June 2020.
The overall index in June 2022 posted a decrease of 1.1 percent, compared with May 2022. The corresponding index in June 2021 posted an increase of 2.6 percent, compared with May 2021.
The 12-month average overall index from July 2021 to June 2022 increased by 29.6 percent, in comparison with the corresponding index of July 2020 to June 2021. The increase between the previous 12-month period was 1.5 percent.
