A contract for the aesthetic and functional upgrade of Messolonghi Square in the Municipality of Hellinikon-Argyroupoli was signed by the regional governor of Attica G. Patoulis and the mayor G. Constantatos.
The project is financed with own resources by the Region of Attica with a budget of 500,000 euros and concerns the supply of equipment for the playground and the square, as well as the enrichment of the greenery and the installation of an irrigation system, with the aim of creating a recreation area, which will be able to attract people of various age groups.
All interventions proposed will be mild and the materials used will be natural and environmentally friendly. The remodeling and upgrading of the playground includes the supply of certified equipment, while it is also planned to install gymnastics equipment with the appropriate safety standards.
At the same time, new plantings with shrubs and plants are planned, as well as the installation of an irrigation system.
