Especially with regard to this last project, the minister emphasized its general importance for the economy of the country, but also for the wider area of the Regional Unity of Messinia, as well as the entire Peloponnese Region, since as he pointed out the specific road network has a heavy traffic load, due to the strong tourist development and the popularity of the area.
Furthermore, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport proposed the construction of the 1st Vocational High School of the Municipality of Neapolis Sykeon. The construction of the school unit is of strategic importance, as an emblematic educational infrastructure project, since it will give substance to vocational education in Central and North Thessaloniki, which currently lacks a similar school complex.
