For September 2022, the parent company’s net sales (excluding intra-company transactions) showed an increase of approximately +8% compared to September 2021.
Overall for the nine months of 2022, the parent company’s net sales – excluding intercompany transactions – showed an increase of approximately +15% compared to the corresponding nine months of last year.
Cyprus
Sales during September 2022 increased by approximately +19%, compared to the corresponding month last year, continuing their impressive dynamic course.
In total, sales in Cyprus for the nine months of 2022 have increased by approximately +23%, compared to the corresponding nine months last year.
Bulgaria
Network sales recorded an increase of approximately +11% in September 2022, compared to the corresponding month last year. The sales of the stores, in Bulgaria, for the nine months of 2022 should be up by approximately +3% compared to the corresponding nine months of last year.
Romania
The network’s sales recorded a decrease of approximately -2% in September 2022, compared to the corresponding month last year.
Overall, sales in the Romanian market, for the nine months of 2022, are down by approximately -1.5%, compared to the corresponding nine months of last year.
The Jumbo Group is taking advantage of its strong financial position and is continuing its investment program for 2022-2023.
The new superstore in the city of Sibiu, in Romania, is expected to open in mid-November.
