Greek retirees to receive pension raises

Greek pensioners are expected to see a 7.75% increase from the new year.

The increase was formed on the basis of the budget and results from the growth for this year at 5.6% but also from the inflation at 9.9%, as pointed out in the Mega report.

Beneficiaries amount to 1,700,000 and the increase will be paid in main pensions from the end of January with the February pensions.

It is pointed out that it concerns all Funds, regardless of pension (old age, widowhood, disability).

An increase will also be given to those who retire in 2023, as well as to those whose recalculation has not been completed (100,000 cases).
