
Inflation in Greece was set at 8.8% in November 2022, according to Eurostat’s final data. It is worth noting that the specific index is the harmonized one (common for all eurozone countries), while the ELSTAT “national” index is at 8.5% for the same month.
According to the European statistics agency, the harmonized index stood at 9.5% in October and 12.1% in September.

At the same time, inflation was 10.1% in November 2022 in the Eurozone, according to Eurostat data, while in the EU annual inflation was 11.1% from 11.5% in October.
In particular, as Eurostat announced, the lowest annual measurements were recorded in Spain (6.7%), France (7.1%) and Malta (7.2%) and the highest in Hungary (23.1%), Latvia ( 21.7%), Estonia and Lithuania (21.4%).
Compared to October, annual inflation fell in 16 countries, while remaining stable in 3 and rising in 8.
In November, the biggest contributors to Eurozone inflation came from energy, food, alcohol and tobacco, as well as services and non-energy industrial goods.
