Greece-based Corinth Pipeworks, a subsidiary of Cenergy Holdings, has won a contract extended by Chevron Mediterranean Ltd. or the construction and supply of a 155-kilometer undersea pipeline (SAWL) connecting Israel’s Tamar natural gas deposit, located in the southeast Mediterranean, to the country’s mainland.
The deepest point of the pipeline is 1,700 meters below the surface of the Mediterranean.
The pipes will be produced at the company’s plant in Viotia prefecture, south-central Greece, with work to begin within 2024.
Corinth Pipeworks is among the global leaders in producing such infrastructure.
