Πassenger traffic at the “Ioannis Daskalogiannis” airport, of Chania increased by 46.9%, compared to the same period last year, in the first quarter of 2023.
According to the official data of Fraport, during the first quarter of 2023, 184,843 passengers were transported through Chania Airport, compared to 125,792 in the first quarter of 2022.
Tourism in Crete is revving up
During the months of January, February and March 2023, 166,535 passengers were transported by domestic flights and 18,308 passengers by international flights.
In the first three months of 2023 through “Daskalogiannis”, 1683 flights were carried out, while in the same period last year there were 1480 flights.
