Dora Bakoyannis appeared with a big smile on her face after the great victory of New Democracy in the elections.
“A big thank you to all the women of Chania and all the people of Chania, who showed their trust in Kyriakos Mitsotakis and gave the Prime Minister of Chania the great joy of seeing today in his hometown that the New Democracy gets the largest percentage in the whole of Crete” said Ms. Bakoyannis from Chania, speaking to journalists.
“But at the same time, let the whole of Crete turn blue. Historically there has never been again. This is a victory which for sure has moved all of us and me personally very much. So a very big thank you again, a new effort starts tomorrow with modesty, with humility, knowing that the world has many problems, but determined to work hard together to be able to deal with them in a short period of time” emphasized Dora Bakoyannis.
