The sixth straight survey by multinational human resources recruiter Randstad of employer brands in Greece – conducted for more than two decades in other countries – shows two Greece-based companies in the “top 10” every year since the inaugural publication in 2018, namely, supermarket chain Sklavenitis and confectionery maker Ion.
Cigarette-maker Papastratos was judged as the best employer in Greece for the third straight year.
Aegean Airlines returned to the “top 10” for 2023, specifically placing in third place, after coming in first in 2020.
Other top employers are the Papadopoulos biscuit and cookie maker; Elpen Pharmaceutical; the Bank of Greece (BoG), as well as two recent entries onto the list (2022, 2023), both from the tourism sector: Costa Navarino and Lampsa Hotels.
Intralot, a gaming, lottery and sports betting service and systems provider to state-licensed companies, rounds out the list.
Finally, the pharmaceutical sector in Greece is deemed as the most attractive for employment, according to 58 percent of respondents in the survey.
