Greece’s Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) this week investment costs totaling 148.7 million euros in the first quarter of 2023, compared to 36.2 million euros in the corresponding period of 2022.
Total revenues reached 93.6 million euros, an increase of 33.8percent compared to Q1 2022, while rental income from transmission systems reached 88.7 million euros, an increase of 38.6 percent compared to Q1 202.
Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached 70 million euros, up from 45.6 million euros in the first quarter of 2022. Comparable EBITDA was 70.1 million euros compared to 47.1 million euros in Q1 2022, an increase of 48.7 percent.
IPTO lists lease commitments of 751.1 million euros.
The group’s net profit totaled 14.8 million euros.
