Greek systemic lender Alpha Bank on Wednesday said it had successfully completed the issuance of 500-million-euro senior preferred bond, while citing offers of 1.3 billion euros.

The ATHEX-listed banking group cited interest by more than 130 investors, with the coupon standing at 6.875 percent and the yield at 7 percent, “significantly lower than initial estimate”.

This was the fifth senior preferred bond issuance since in 2021 and 2022, with the total reaching 1.7 billion euros.

The latest senior preferred bond has a six-year maturity and is callable in the fifth year, with a coupon of 6.875 percent and a yield of 7 percent.
