Greek Elections 2023 – Cyprus Prez: “I congratulate Mr. Mitsotakis on his great victory”

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, contacted Kyriakos Mitsotakis just a few minutes after the exit poll which shows a difference of more than 24 points between New Democracy and SYRIZA.

Towards the formation of a strong independent New Democracy government with 42%, definitely a seven-party Parliament, Plefsi Eleftherias and MeRA25 parties on the razor’s edge for crossing the threshold for entry to parliament.

“I contacted the Greek Prime Minister, friend @kmitsotakis and congratulated him on his great victory. We will meet in the next few days in Brussels and soon he will visit Cyprus” wrote Mr. Christodoulides on Twitter.
