The inflation rate in Greece rose slightly to 3.4 percent in July 2023, on an annual basis, compared with 2.8 percent in June, according to data released on Monday by Eurostat.
Conversely, the inflation rate in the Eurozone, as a whole, reached 5.3 percent in July 2023, down from 5.5 percent in the preceding month.
Foodstuffs, alcohol and tobacco products posted the highest rates in increase over the month, at 10.8 percent, but slightly down from 11.6 percent in June 2023.
