Today, Wednesday November 1, 2023, the Ministry of Environment and Energy launched a large program of execution of the demolition protocols, which are final, with the aim of dealing with arbitrary construction.
In particular, the program in question starts, on a pilot basis, from Attica with the demolition of 16 properties located on seashores, beaches and forest areas and is to be extended to other regions of the country.
The beginning was made today, with the demolition of a property – within the Parnitha National Forest in the location “Kalamara”, Fyli Municipality Region – which is expected to be completed tomorrow.
It is noted that the program is financed by the Green Fund and implemented by the decentralized administrations.
The Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thodoros Skylakakis, stated: “A prerequisite for the proper application of urban planning legislation and for the reforms that must be made in urban planning legislation is the principle of legitimacy.”
