A second phase of a tender to sell-off a 20% stake of the special vehicle company Ariadne Interconnection commenced on Monday, with the deadline for submissions of offers to continue until the end of April.
The company today is a fully subsidiary of Greece’s Independent Power Transmission Operator S.A. (IPTO) and was created to implement the electricity connection between the large Aegean island of Crete and the Greek mainland, with a terminal at the latter in the greater Athens area (Attica prefecture).
According to a decision by the independent Regulatory Authority for Energy, Waste and Water (RAEEY), a list of investment schemes whose expressions of interest were approved during the first phase of the tender was announced, with IPTO now proceeding with an invitation for the request for binding offers (RfBO).
Approved candidates will have access to a Virtual Data Room (VDR) after accepting relevant conditions.
