Investors interested in submitting bids for the development of a business and logistics park in the “Spilies” area of the Fyli Municipality can do so by June 17, announced the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), which has launched an international tender for the ambitious project.
Budgeted at 32 million euros, the work includes the relocation of transport services from Elaionas/Votanikos to Fyli, west of Athens, as well as accommodation facilities.
The preferred investor will enter a concession agreement with the Municipality of Fyli for a period of 35 years and be required to finance, design, develop, construct, operate, and maintain the logistics park.
The Fyli park is set to serve as a national transport hub and expected to create new jobs during both the construction and operational phases while increasing revenues for Fyli.
“This is a pivotal project developed on sustainable principles benefiting society, the economy, and the environment. It marks a step towards establishing Greece as an international logistics hub,” said Executive Director HRADF and Head of the Project Preparation Facility Unit (PPF) Panagiotis Stampoulidis.
